2004 Youth Tournament Results

Eleven youth anglers (pictured above) participated in the 2004 Youth Tournament held on June 26. Each participant received a DRFA club hat, tournament certificate, and a gift pack including a variety of baits donated by Gary Yamamoto Baits, coupons for Rita's Water Ice, and bowling gift certificates from Brunswick Zone in Feasterville, PA. Kayla Laing captured the Junior Division with the largest fish of the day, an 18", 3.15-lb. catfish.
April Dougherty took top honors in the Senior Division with this 1.69-lb. 15.5" catfish she caught while fishing with her uncle, DRFA member Bruce Galinat, on her first-ever fishing trip. She was also the only angler to weigh in fish in two categories.
Ryan Buchanan weighed in the overall second largest fish of the day, a 1.85-lb., 17.25" catfish.
Casey Evans caught this 1.16-lb., 15.75" catfish while fishing from shore with her Mom, Dad, and brother in the Neshaminy State Park area.

Family members gather with the competitors to celebrate the day after a luncheon of hot dogs, snacks, and sodas. DRFA member Tom Zerumski served as head chef to prepare the hot dogs donated by WaWa.
