´ There is no entry fee, however, all participants must register in advance of the tournament. (Bring completed form to sign-in.)
´ Youth anglers 15-years old and younger (born after 7/13/92) who are guests of any dues-paying DRFA member are eligible.
´ All participants must check in between 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM at the Neshaminy State Park Ramp before fishing.
´ Youth anglers are allowed to weigh in one fish in each of three categories: Bass, Catfish, Other.
´ The heaviest fish in each category will determine the winner. In the event of a tie in weight, the longest fish will be the tie-breaker.
´ The fish must have been caught on that day, during the hours of the tournament. Fishing can be done from a boat or the shoreline in any part of the Delaware River and its tributaries that can be reached by boat from the Neshaminy State Park Ramp.
´ All youth contestants and their adult sponsors must wear Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Devices at all times that they are in a boat during this tournament.
´ Sponsoring adults may aid the youth contestants in terms of baiting hooks, netting, and unhooking fish, but they may not hook, play, reel, or land fish for the youth contestants.
´ Only legal fishing methods of the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania may be used. Live bait is permitted.
´ Weigh-in is at 1:00 pm sharp. Those arriving after 1:00 pm will not be permitted to weigh-in fish for prizes.
´ All fish must be of legal size and alive at weigh-in. All fish will be released after weigh-in.
´ The tournament judge will have final say in all disputes.
´ All youth participants will receive awards. Plaques will be awarded to the top finishers in each fish category in each age division.
´ Refreshments and awards will be distributed at the weigh-in location at the end of the tournament.
Directions to Sign-In and Weigh-in:
By boat, go up Neshaminy Creek past the first bridge (at State Road). Snug Harbor Marina is around the bend on the right hand side.
By car, exit from I-95 North or South at the Street Road exit (PA Route 132) and follow Street Road east to the traffic light at State Road. Turn left on State Road and follow it north. Cross the State Road bridge over the Neshaminy Creek, and turn left at the next traffic light, onto Cedar Avenue. Take Cedar Avenue to the second street on the left and turn left onto Main Avenue there (at sign for Snug Harbor Marina). Follow to end of road, into marina.
