DELAWARE RIVER ACCESS AREAS
1. Balls Eddy access area (PA) - Located on the West Branch Delaware River, a full service access area is provided by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commision (PFBC). Parking, boat ramp, mooring, docking, trash disposal and sanitary facilities are available for public use.
2. Buckingham access area (PA) - Owned by the PFBC and available for free use by the public. Facilities include parking, boat ramp, mooring and trash disposal.
3. Equinuck access area (PA) - Owned by the PFBC for free public use. Facilities are primitive. Hand launching only. No parking or boat ramp.
4. Callicoon access area (NY) - In the Hamlet of Callicoon, NY off Route 97. Parking for 40 cars, boat launch area, trash disposal and sanitary facilities. Maintained by the NY Dept of Environmental Conservation (NYDEC).
5. Callicoon access area (PA) - On the PA side, approximately one-half mile downstream from the Callicoon Bridge, the PFBC operates this access area. Parking, boat ramp, mooring trash disposal and sanitary facilities are available.
6. Cochecton access area (NY) - Off Route 97 just upstream from the NY side of the Cochecton-Damascus Bridge, one mile west of Cochecton Hamlet. Hand launching only, parking for 19 cars, sanitary facilities and trash disposal. Maintained by (NYDEC).
7. Damascus access area (PA) - On the PA side just downstream from the Danascus Cochecton Bridge. Parking, boat ramp, mooring, tash disposal and sanitary facilities are available. Provided by PFBC.
8. Skinners Falls access area (NY) - Provided by the NYDEC just downstream from the highway bridge near Milanville, PA and upstream from Skinners Falls - one of Delaware's most challenging rapids. Parking for 40 - 50 cars, boat ramp, sanitary facilities and trash disposal.
9. Narrowsburg access area (NY) - Off Route 97 in the Hamlet of Narrowsburg, access off Main Street. Parking for 24 cars and trailers or 40 cars, hard surface, boat ramp, trash disposal and sanitary facilities. Provided by the NYDEC.
10. Narrowsburg access area (PA) - The PFBC operates this facility off Route 106. It provides a hard surface parking area, paved ramp, mooring and trash disposal.
11. Zane Grey Inn access area (PA) - At the confluence of the Lackawaxen and Delaware Rivers off PA Route 590, operated by the PFBC. Hand launching, parking and trash facilities.
12. Matamoras access area (PA) - A full service access area providing parking, boat ramp, mooring, docking, trash disposal and samitary facilities. Located off PA Route 549. Provided for public use by the PFBC.
13. Milford Beach access area (PA). - Operated by the National Park Service, this access is reached by paved road from US209 just south of Milford. Services include adequate parking for multiple uses, trash disposal, sanitary facilities, drinking water, picnic sites, telephone and swimming as well as a paved boat ramp for all types of boating.
14. Dingmans Ferry access area (PA) - Located one-half mile east of US Route 209 off PA Route 739, this National Park Service facility offers adequate parking for multiple uses, a very wide boat ramp to accommodate several vehicles, telephone, sanitary facilities and trash disposal. The bridge at Digmans Ferry is a privately owned toll bridge.
15. Eshback access area (PA) - Accessible from US 209, The National Park Service maintains this primitive access site with no facilities and parking for on five cars.
16. Bushkill access area (PA) - Developed by the PFBC this access provides a boat ramp and limited parking.
17. Depew access area (NJ) - A cartop launch facility with picnic, limited parking, sanitary facilities and trash disposal is maintained by the National Park Service off River Road.
18. Pahaquarry access area (NJ) - Located near Poxono Island, the National Park Service operates a primitive access site offering cartop launching and limited parking.
19. Smithfield each access area (PA) - Located off River Road this National Park Service facility offers a guarded sand beach, paved boat ramp, parking, picnic area, water, trash disposal and sanitary facilities.
20. Worthington State Forest access area (NJ) - Facilities include a paved boat ramp and parking.
21. Kittatinny access area (NJ) - A full service access facility is maintained by the National Park Service at the Delaware Water Gap. Facilities include a boat ramp, limited parking, sanitary facilities, picnic area, park information, trash disposal, hiking and water.
22. Metropolitan Edison Power Plant access area (PA) -Owned and maintained by Metropolitan Edison Company for free use by the public. Facilities include a dirt boat ramp, picnic area, limited parking, trash disposal and sanitary facilities. Day use only - no camping - facility is locked at night.
23. Martins Creek access area (PA) - Owned and operated by the PA Power and Light Company (PP&L) for free use by the public. Fcilities include parking, a gently sloping sand and gravel boat ramp, trash disposal and camping by permit only. Closed at night.
24. Sandts Eddy access area (PA) - A boat ramp and mooring are maintained by the PFBC with limited parking, sanitary facilities, trash disposal and picnic area.
25. Frost Hollow Park access (PA) - A hand launch canoe access is maintained by the Northampton County Park Board. Parking for 12 cars.
26. Eddyside Park access (PA) - The City of Easton maintains a concrete boat ramp, parking for 25 cars, sanitary facilities, trash disposal, water and picnic area. Pool swimming for a fee is available.
27. Easton Beachfront access (PA) - The City of Easton provided a concrete boat ramp, parking for 12 cars and trash disposal.
28. Phillipsburg access area (NJ) - This municipal facility offers a concrete boat ramp, parking, trash disposal and water.
29. Easton Front Street Park (PA) - The City of Easton maintains a paved boat ramp with limited parking and trash disposal.
30.Riegelville access area (NJ) - The Riegel Products Corp maintains this facility for free public use. A concrete boat ramp and parking are available.
31. Holland Church access area (NJ) - The NJ Division of Fish and Game (NJDF&G) maintains a primitive, cartop access with limited parking.
32. Upper Black Eddy access area (PA) - The PFBC maintains this facility with paved boat ramp and limited parking.
33. Kingman access area (NJ) - The NJDF&G provides a boat ramp and parking at the downstream end of Pennington Island. A fee is charged between Memorial Day & Labor Day.
34. Tinicum Park access (PA) - The Bucks Count Dept of Parks and Recreation maintains a concrete boat ramp and adjacent park facilities including parking, sanitary facilities, trash disposal , picinic area, camping by permit and water.
35a. Byram access area (NJ) - A boat ramp, parking and picnic tables are provided as part of the Bulls Island Section of the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, NJ Division of Parks. A fee is charged between Memorial Day and Labor Day
35b. Bull's Island Access area (NJ) - A boat ramp, parking and picnic tables are provided as part of the Bulls Island Section of the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, NJ Division of Parks. A fee is charged between Memorial Day and Labor Day
36. Lambertville access area (NJ) - A boat ramp, limited parking and sanitary facilities are provided as part of the Delaware and Raritan State Park, NJ Division. No fee is charged at this facility.
37. Yardley access area (PA) - The PFBC provides a paved boat ramp, parking, sanitary facilities off River Road south of the Scudders Falls Bridge (I95) Free
38. Mercer County access area (NJ) - Access to the tidal Delaware Estuary. Wide concrete boat ramp, parking, sanitary facilities. FEE
39. Bordentown Municipal ramp (NJ) - Maintained by Bordentown Township this ramp is located at the confluence of Crosswick Creek and the river. Access to the tidal section of the river. FEE
40. Pennsbury Manor access ramp (PA) - Operated by Falls Township this ramp gives access to the tidal river just north of Tullytown Cove. This is a wide ramp with ample parking. FEE
41. Florence Municipal ramp access (NJ) - This ramp is off Front Street in Florence and is almost directly accross the river from Tullytown Cove. FEE
42. Neshaminy State Park access area (PA) - Operated by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources this ramp is located just north of Neshaminy Creek in Croydon, PA. Extra wide ramp capable of launching five boats with ample parking and sanitary facilities. FEE
43. Linden Avenue access ramp (PA) - Owned and operated by the City of Philadelphia it gives access to tidal water in the Phila section of the river. This ramp is across river from Rancocas Creek and Dredge Harbor. A nice double ramp with a dock; parking for
40 trailers and sanitary facilities. Free to the public.
44. Tacony Access Area, (PA) - operated by the City of Philadelphia providing access to the tidal section of the Delaware River. Located at Princeton Ave & State Road just north of The Tacony Palmyra Bridge with parking for approx. 20 trailers. No sanitary facilities and
no dock. Free to the public
45. Frankford Arsenal access area (PA) - Operated by the City of Philadelphia, this is a premier ramp on the tidal portion of the river. It sports two double wide ramps with docks and parking for 60 trailers. Numerous tournaments are held at this location including The BASSMASTER Elite Series in 2014. It also has a shore fishing area for anglers and sanitary facilities. Free to the public.
